The Miami 8&11 has turned the industry upside down. Made in the tiny El Rey de los Habanos factory of Miami under the watchful eye of Jose ‘Pepin’ Garcia, maker of Tatuaje and 601 Serie, this cigar has been named one of the top 50 cigars in the world to accompany a handful of 90+ ratings.

The blend is extraordinary. Each leaf of tobacco hails from the dark, fertile soils of Nicaragua and is grown from 1st generation Cuban seeds. The wrapper is a dark, reddish-hued Corojo. The filler, a robust mixture of Criollo and Corojo tobaccos. Three caps are applied to the head of this cigar in true Cuban fashion. Production is low and costs are high, yielding a very low number of cigars each year. But those that are produced are exemplary. Toasty hints of wood, cocoa and coffee smack your taste buds at various points throughout the smoke, while each is finished by a peppery aftertaste that coats the palate like syrup. The grade 5 titanium Control Board on the back of the 103 was inspired by vintage marine chronometers which placed their more rarely used functional indications on the back of the timepiece. The Control Board is URWERK's contemporary interpretation of classical horology.
